You know there's hope that winter is over when you see the Sentintels of Spring! |

Seems like they just start poking their heads out of the earth then April is full of color. |

May is magical! If you don't love the cool, wet mornings, and the blossoms of May, you don't belong in the garden. |

Color, color, color... it's the peak of seasons. There's a few weeks in there before the heat where color seems to explode. |

Late in the summer, just before the leaves begin to turn there's a short time for the blooms that love the hot days and warm nights. |

Autumn is a relief from the heat, the colors are beautiful but it also warns you of the cold days ahead. |

It's the howls of winds that chill you to the bone. It's the crackling of the frozen ground...
It's the whisper of winter. |

Nothing is more surreal than waking to new fallen snow. As the day breaks, the snow sparkles, your boot steps crunch and everything appears glittered. Within those moments there is a deep silence yet we hear childhood voices. Put on a coat, wrap yourself memories and experience the silence of snow. |
You ought to have seen
how it looked in the rain,
The fruit mixed with water
in layers of leaves,
Like two kinds of jewels,
a vision for thieves.
~Robert Frost excerpt from Blueberries |
